Matthew Scott has called Ward 5 home for nearly 40 years. Raised in Sault Ste. Marie's west end, his deep personal roots in the community drive his passion to ensure Ward 5 receives its fair share of municipal attention and infrastructure investment.
First elected to Sault Ste. Marie City Council, Matt has served as Ward 5 Councillor for over 8 years. Throughout his time in office, his governance philosophy has remained consistent: listen carefully to constituents, vote with common sense, and manage municipal tax revenue with the same care as a family budget.
